It's time to start thinking caddis flies or at least getting yours tied. The Caddis hatch could start any time now and it's good to have several different patterns. That way you can cover all stages of the caddis fly adult life cycle. Caddis flies are very active insects constantly moving from the pupal stage to adult. This a great fly to swing, twitch, strip, even drowning a caddis works well. Here are some of my Caddis patterns that I suggest , and the instructions to tie my Pearl Wing Caddis.
